Concrete fiber dosage calculator
Price the whole package, with your own rates
Four calculators for the four places fiber changes a budget. Nothing is pre-loaded with a Polyguard assumption: every steel price, labour rate, dosage and maintenance interval is an input you control, and nothing leaves your browser.

Four concrete fiber dosage calculators
Industrial flooring savings calculator
Total installed reinforcement cost against a fiber dose.
CurrencyUSD
Result
- Concrete volume
- —
- Steel avoided
- —
- Steel purchase
- —
- Chairs & spacers
- —
- Placing labour
- —
- Conventional, installed
- —
- Fiber required
- —
- Polyguard, dosed
- —
- Saving per m²
- —
- Saving on reinforcement
- —
- Direct saving
- —
Indicative only. The dosage must be confirmed by structural design and a trial mix; removing mesh is valid only where the engineering design permits it.
Shotcrete & tunnel calculator
Cost and cycle time per linear metre of tunnel.
CurrencyUSD
Result
- Sprayed area
- —
- Shotcrete volume
- —
- Steel avoided
- —
- Mesh, installed
- —
- Mesh-fixing hours removed
- —
- Crew & equipment time
- —
- Polyguard, dosed
- —
- Saving per linear metre
- —
- Total project saving
- —
Indicative only. Fixing rates and crew costs vary with ground class, profile and method. Confirm the dosage by design and a site trial.
AsphaltGuard lifecycle calculator
Fiber cost per tonne against postponed resurfacing.

Result
- Paved area

- Mix tonnage
- —
- Fiber required
- —
- Fiber cost, whole job
- —
- Added cost per tonne

The extended maintenance interval is your assumption, not a Polyguard claim. Any change in service life must be verified by mix design and laboratory testing on your own materials.
Precast production ROI calculator
Rejection, rework and handling damage against the annual fiber investment.
CurrencyUSD
Result
- Annual production value
- —
- Current rejection loss
- —
- Rework cost
- —
- Handling & transport loss
- —
- Annual fiber investment
- —
- Fiber cost per m³
- —
- Rejection cut needed to break even (points)
- —
- Recovered production value
- —
- Rework & claims avoided
- —
- Return on the fiber spend
- —
- Months of benefit to cover the dose
- —
- Net annual benefit
- —
Indicative only. Rework and claims are assumed to fall in the same proportion as rejection — that is your assumption to accept, not a Polyguard claim. The dosage must be confirmed by structural design and a trial mix.
How to use these
Four steps to a number you can defend
Use installed cost, not unit rate
Put in what reinforcement actually costs once it is in the slab: steel, waste, accessories, labour and supervision. A steel price alone will always look cheaper than it is.
Use your real rates
Your steel price, your labour rate, your fixing time. The defaults are only there so the fields are not empty.
Get the dosage from design
The dosage field decides the fiber cost. Ask us for a written recommendation against your mix before you rely on the output.
Send it to us with the drawing
We check the assumptions, flag anything optimistic, and come back with a data sheet and a trial-mix plan.
About the numbers
What these calculators do and do not do
Are the results a quotation?
Can I really remove the mesh?
Where does the asphalt lifecycle saving come from?
Does anything get sent to Polyguard?
Price the whole reinforcement package, not the steel
Send the drawing, the exposure class and the loading. You get a dosage recommendation, a data sheet and an installed-cost comparison against your current specification.
