Polyguard Fibers is the concrete- and asphalt-fiber brand of Lavan Plast, an Iranian polypropylene fiber manufacturer with its head office in Tehran and its production plant in Tafresh, Markazi Province — built by concrete specialists, civil engineering consultants, polymer engineers and extrusion technologists working on the same problem.
Who we are
A product that came from the site, not the lab alone
Polyguard is the result of years of research and collaboration between experts in concrete technology, civil engineering and polymer science. Its development was driven by what the construction industry actually asks for: long service life, faster installation and a defensible cost per cubic metre.
Our polypropylene formulation is engineered for mechanical performance and produced on modern extrusion equipment. The result is a fiber range that performs consistently from extreme cold and high humidity through to chemically aggressive ground.
Manufacturing
Made in Iran, specified to international standards
Lavan Plast manufactures the full Polyguard fiber range at its own plant on Moin Abad Road in Tafresh, Markazi Province, with commercial and technical coordination from the Tehran office. Nothing in the range is traded in or repackaged: the polymer goes in as virgin resin at one end and leaves as a graded, documented, batch-certified fiber at the other. That is what makes it possible to answer a question about a specific consignment two years after it shipped.

- Annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes
- In-house laboratory and a dedicated quality control team, under an ISO 9001 quality management system
- Manufactured and classified to ASTM C1116 and EN 14889-2
- Supplied across Iran and exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, the UAE, Turkey, Oman, Pakistan and Qatar
Sourcing from an Iranian manufacturer is, for regional projects, a question of cost base and lead time rather than of specification: the product is built to the same ASTM and EN requirements a European supplier would quote against. Test reports, batch certificates and a free trial sample are available before any production order.
